Studio creates handcrafted custom designed jewelry.
Lagniappe Design started as a simple patriotic statement after the
September 11th tragedy. Carrying a travel case and my bead supplies,
I would create red, white and, blue American Spirit Bracelets anywhere
and any time. I charged only enough to pay for my supplies and donated
the rest to the victims of this disaster.
From there I learned to love beading and creating the designs you
see here. Of course the word lagniappe in Cajun (Louisiana) French
means "a little something extra." So I always price my designs
to reflect this concept. Whether it is the earrings or a semi precious
stone, I make sure there is always "lagniappe."
